Profile of Activities for Trainees

WIP has openings available for trainees to assist its project managers in the areas of event organisation and project execution. Activities could include:

 
Assistance with the organisation of professional international seminars and conferences in Munich and, possibly at various European locations during the events, including liaison with potential participants, registration, preparation of materials, assistance with programme organisation, interaction with participants on-site, compilation and despatch of follow-up materials including proceedings
Assistance with project work in the areas of technical and non-technical studies in the field of renewable energy in Europe and worldwide
Research embracing the compilation of background materials for current projects being undertaken on the national and international level
Support and follow-up of up-dated information for company website(s)
Assistance with the preparation of presentations and proposals
Assistance with the preparation and design of technical, non-technical booklets and publications produced
Assistance with mailing and results dissemination activities

The duration of the internship should preferrably last for 6 months. Suitable trainees would be given the opportunity to undertake supervised work in one or more of the aforementioned areas. These activities will be carried out in close collaboration with WIP experts who will ensure that there are significant opportunities for knowledge exchange and transfer of know-how.
Potential trainee candidates should have a very good knowledge of verbal and written English.
