Follow the DC-Power Project on Social Media

The EU-funded DC-POWER project officially started in January 2024. During its 4-year duration, DC-POWER is expanding its concepts into the medium voltage range. The project introduces the revolutionary D3Bus (Dual DC Distribution Bus), a bipolar DC bus operating at ±1.5 kV. This technological system is set a significant transformation, reducing distribution energy losses by over 90% slashing downtime, equipment costs, and space requirements, all while increasing sustainability.

The DC-POWER project website is under construction, so follow us on LinkedIn and X to keep up with all the news!

Bioeconomy Adventure: SCALE-UP’s International Study Tour (AUT/GER)

The SCALE-UP project is organing an international study tour from April 16-18, 2024! It will start in Linz, Austria and conclude in Straubing, Germany.

Highlights include:
  • Linz: Biomass power plant tour, Wood K plus research institute visit, and a unique tasting of spirits made from old bread.

Follow the ESCIB Project’s Social Media Channels

The ESCIB project (upcoming website: www.escib.eu) aims to support the sustainability of the bio-based economy in Europe by developing comprehensive assessment methodologies that contribute to standardisation.

The project will create a robust, fully operational methodology to evaluate the sustainability of bio-based systems at various technology-readiness levels (TRLs), using a holistic life-cycle approach to assess environmental impacts and circularity along bio-based value chains. Potential socio-economic trade-offs will be addressed and incorporated into the methodology.

More information of the ESCIB project can be found on our press release, and our latest developments will be updated on LinkedIn and X. Don’t forget to follow!

Visit the New ICARUS Project Website

The ICARUS project aims to accelerate the global expansion of sustainable aviation biofuels production by fostering the development of optimal methodologies based on advanced innovative technologies and conceptual frameworks based on market access insights covering entire value chains. The project website has recently been launched. Key project information and progress can be found here.

Join the SHAREs National Event in the framework on the Berliner Energietage 2024
