iAMP-Hydro Website online & first event coming up

The iAMP-Hydro project will improve the operations of existing hydropower stations through the development of new digital sensors and services. Collectively, these will form iAMP: a novel Intelligent Asset Management Platform encompassing secure, open, and transparent data-sharing protocols, along with three novel digital solutions. These include new condition monitoring and predictive maintenance tools for hydropower turbines, the ecological water status monitoring and improved weather and flow forecasting. More information about the project approach and results in prospect can found at the website.

On 11 April 2024, iAMP-Hydro will organise a Co-Development workshop in Granada & online. Find out more at https://www.iamp-hydro.eu/.

POWER-E-COM participate in an Interesting Project Summit in Brussels

The POWER-E-COM project was represented on 13 and 14 March 2024 at the “Contractors’ meeting – Energy communities”, which was organised by CINEA. Project coordinator Ingo Ball (WIP) and Co-coordinator Francisco Puente (ESCAN) participated in the meeting in Brussels and presented the project. Most importantly, it was an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences on fostering energy communities in Europe. The main topics discussed in Brussels were energy sharing, capacity building for municipalities and citizens, financing, so-called one-stop-shops (called ECTO in POWER-E-COM), and of course, how energy communities could tackle energy poverty. On the photo, Francisco Puente and Ingo Ball are showing the POWER-E-COM poster.
