Save the date – REPLACE workshop on 8 April 2022

REPLACE workshop “Towards Renewable Heating & Cooling: Replacement of Inefficient Systems in the Residential Sector”

The REPLACE project partners are pleased to invite you to the event “Towards Renewable Heating & Cooling: Replacement of Inefficient Systems in the Residential Sector” to present the key findings of the project and discuss the framework conditions for replacement, exchanging old conventional fossil fuel systems with renewable ones. The workshop will take place online in the afternoon of the 08th of April 2022, as part of the international World Sustainable Energy Days (WSED).

This event is an excellent opportunity to learn how the phase-out of fossil-based heating systems can be brought forward in the European agenda and to find out more about modern renewable technologies. The event will also provide the chance to engage with key policymakers, industry and end-users representatives on the potential and challenges of renewable H&C solutions in buildings. We invite you for discussions on how renewable energy at home can contribute to Europe’s energy transition, while empowering consumers in their energy choices. You will find the event agenda and registration information at this link.

Lunch at SocialRES: the webinar series about energy democracy and social innovation!

SocialRES: webinar series about energy democracy

Energy is a part of everyone’s lives. The SocialRES project is organising a series of webinars on energy democracy. Also called, Lunch at SocialRES, the aim of these social talks is to raise people’s awareness about the concepts related to renewable energy, its role in achieving energy democracy, energy transition, and building energy communities. “Today we can make a difference. We can be the spark that starts one of the most fundamental social, economic and technical changes of our times towards the clean energy transition,” says SocialRES project coordinator Silvia Caneva.

Upcoming CitizEE events in March and April

CitizEE Policy Workshop on 11 March 2022

The workshop will present the legal and regulatory aspects of creating citizen finance schemes for energy efficiency for policy makers, regulators and system operators. The recommendations are based on pilot cases from four different EU Member States. For this we need to mobilise local, national and European policy makers. Stiftung Umweltenergierecht will lead the topic.

Final CitizEE Dissemination Event on 5 – 6 April 2022
Organised within the framework of the ERDF Interreg Med funded project Blue Crowdfunding, this workshop will provide participants with detailed knowledge on the alternative funding mechanism known as Crowdfunding. Experience from crowdfunding platforms, local authorities, national conduct authorities and other European experts will ensure a high level experience. Moreover, the two day event will  enable participants to deepen their knowledge on Crowdfunding and with the help of experts providing insights and skills to advise and train interested third parties on crowdfunding themselves.
