 ETIP PV met in Brussels for the Annual Conference
Following a Steering Committee meeting and a policy workshop with the
European Commission on the 10th Framework Programme, the 20th ETIP PV
Annual Conference was held on 4 June under the theme: “The urgency of now: Innovation in making deployment and production targets a reality for solar PV".
The event highlighted the need for innovative solutions to meet the EU’s
2030 targets, such as improving grid flexibility, integrating storage,
and strengthening sustainable supply chains. It also emphasised that
“Made in Europe” must align with resilience and non-price criteria to
ensure the competitiveness and strategic autonomy of European PV
manufacturing.

| |  IBC4EU General Assembly in Cittadella
The IBC4EU consortium gathered in Cittadella for its 5th General
Assembly — the penultimate milestone before project completion. Hosted
by FuturaSun, the meeting fostered collaboration among partners.
We reviewed project progress, shared work package updates, and discussed
recent advances in Interdigitated Back Contact (IBC) solar cell
technology. The event helped align upcoming milestones and reinforce
cooperation across the full PV value chain — from silicon ingots to
high-efficiency modules.
A key highlight was the release of the second IBC4EU video, showcasing achievements and impact of the project.
