WIP at ISEC 2026: Skills Powering the Energy Transition

How can Europe build the workforce needed for a successful energy transition? This key question was at the centre of Skills4DHC and DH Academy workshop “The Skill Transition for the Energy Transition – what does the district heating and cooling sector need?” at ISEC 2026 in Graz.

In an interactive World Café session, participants from across Europe explored how education and training can strengthen the district heating and cooling sector. The discussion highlighted clear priorities: closer cooperation between industry and academia, training tailored to market needs, continuous upskilling and reskilling, and supportive policies for long-term workforce development.

Fair Housing, Fair Energy

During the Global Housing Action Days (23–29 March), voices worldwide united for better living conditions. IBC4EU Ends with Strong Impact

As Horizon Europe project IBC4EU concludes this April, two high-impact webinars showcased its final results to an international audience. An exclusive ESMC webinar underlined the project’s key message: practical pathways to strengthen European PV manufacturing.
WIP launches ETIP PV Secretariat

From 1 April, WIP has started its new two-year term as Secretariat of ETIP PV, working closely with SolarPower Europe under Horizon Europe. The launch began, with the Steering Committee election call attracting an impressive number of high-quality applicants from across Europe’s PV sector. ETIP PV is also supporting the EUPI-PV Conference 2026, focused on investing in solar innovation for a secure and competitive EU.
