The study on “Development Cooperation in the Energy Sector - Namibia” elaborated by WIP Renewable Energies was commissioned by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit (GTZ) GmbH.

The objective of this study was to provide information for German stakeholders potentially interested in development cooperation with Namibia in the energy sector. The study provides an overview of the status and perspectives of renewable energy and energy efficiency technology applications in Namibia. Results of this study were based on detailed interviews with a variety of stakeholders in Namibia and Germany involved in the energy sector.
