RE4Industry project aims to help the energy intensive industry (EII) sector in Europe transition smoothly and securely to renewable energies (RE) in their production processes and facilities.
“Bioenergy Solutions for decarbonization of Energy Intensive Industries” workshop is organized by WIP in the framework of the project RE4Industry (https://re4industry.eu/) supported by the European Commission within Horizon 2020.
The workshop is targeted towards public affairs representatives of EII, representatives of bioenergy and other renewable technology providers, and policy makers. The session will be highly interactive to enable participants to discuss innovative projects and solutions. Policy makers will explain the instruments in place or under discussion to make the energy transition a reality. Hosted by EUBCE, the workshop is intended to maximize networking opportunities.
During the workshop, attendees will learn about the results of the RE4Industry project, with a focus on an overview of EU EIIs, their emissions, decarbonization targets, and success cases of companies that have successfully adapted bioenergy solutions.

“Towards 100% renewable energy-based heating and cooling in Europe: A secure energy supply in times of crisis”.
25 May 2023
Location: AC Hotel by Marriott Torino, Torino, Italy
You are cordially invited by the European Technology and Innovation Platform on Renewable Heating and Cooling (RHC-ETIP) to attend the annual conference titled "Towards 100% Renewable Energy-based Heating and Cooling in Europe: A Secure Energy Supply in Times of Crisis." This event is organized by the WIP Renewable Energy, which is part of the RHC-ETIP Secretariat. The conference is set to take place in Turin, Italy on May 25th, and will comprise of political and technical panel discussions, presentations on various renewable and heating technologies, and a national roundtable dedicated to examining Italy's perspective on RHC.
The goal of RHC-ETIP is to facilitate a common strategy for promoting renewable energy technologies in the sectors of biomass, geothermal, solar thermal, heat pump, district heating and cooling, and thermal storage, with the aim of increasing their deployment for heating and cooling and ultimately phasing out the use of fossil fuels.
Your attendance at this conference would greatly support our mission, and we would be honored to have you join us!
